    Answer the following questions using the linked web site.  Answer the questions on a separate paper.  Number you answers to match the question numbers.

     A. Explore the website.   What is the source of the information which you are getting from the web?
              1. Who sponsors the web site? ( A college, a company, other?)
              2. Where in the world is NanoWorld located? How do you know?
     
     B.   Click on "Instrumentation" and then "More information" .  What are the tools used to see nanoworld?
            3. Find out what a "Scanning Electron Microscope "is.  Briefly describe what it is.  Click on JEOL-JSM-890 to see a photo of an SEM.   What does it look like?
             4. Find out what a "Transmission Electron Microscope "is.  Describe it and its magnification ability.  Click on JOEL 1010 to see a photo and information.  What does it look like?
     
     C.  Return to the "NanoWorld Image Gallery".  Click on " Artistically Modified":
           Look around at the images.  The color has been added.  SEMs are in black and white.
              5. Choose an image :
                 a. name it
                  b. Double click on the image and Copy/Paste it into a Word document.
                  c. Write a description of the image.  Be sure to include the magnification.
       
     D. Return to the "NanoWorld Image Gallery", click on " scanning Electron Microscopes".
                 6.  FIND : Page 1: Canine Round Worm.   Where does it occur in dogs?
                  7. FIND : page 2 : "Pollen Grains"  Where does the pollen come from?  Describe what it looks like.
     
         E. Return to the "NanoWorld Image Gallery", Click on "Transmission Electron Microscopy".
                  8.  Find : "Bacillus Dividing"   What is it?
                  9. Go to page 2, find "mitochondrion".  Describe the image.
       
      F. Return to the Gallery, Click on "Most Viewed"
                 10. Choose your favorite image .  Copy/Paste it into a Word document.  Write/Type a description of the image.
     
    Print out your Word Document
