• Metric Conversion   Students use three web sites to convert units; metric to metric and English to S.I.
    2. NASM Space Exploration
        Students use the National Air and Space Museum's web site to explore the Apollo 11 mission to the moon.
    3. Protein Structure    Biology students will use a site from Denmark to obtain protein structures and amino acid sequences.
    4. The Mineral WebQuest     Students will find specific minerals, detail the characteristics, print photos of the minerals and explore the properties of minerals.
     
     
         Students explore the nanoscopic world,including images of biological  and inorganic samples.  SEMs, TEMs and other images
    6. Human Genetic Diseases WebQuest     The students will visit various web sites in search of information on Human Genetic Diseases which relate to their study of  Mendelian Genetics.
    7. Atmosphere WebQuest       The students will use a diagram and information to answer questions on the Earth's Atmosphere.
    8. Weather Role- Play WebQuest       The sudents role-play as a globe trotting reporter to discover the weather resources on the Internet.
    9. Benjamin Franklin - WebQuest
           This is a cross-curricular activity in which Franklin's scientific, political, and other achievements are explored.  The web site includes quotes from "Poor Richard's Almanac.

    10. VolcanoWorld WebQuest
           VolcanoWorld is the best web site in the world for volcanoes.  There is a video intro from a Volcanologist, Notes and photos from expeditions, laboratory information and much more!
    11. Constellations WebQuest       Students will use previewed web sites to describe a constellation chosen from various cultures.
