Planet Photos 2002
The students constructed scale models of the solar system to demonstrate the distances among the planets.
Some students included the newly discovered planetoid, Quaoar.

Posters were a nice fit for a 5 cm = 1 AU scale.	Syrofoam balls gave a three-dimensional twist to some posters.
One group used the scale 1 meter = 1 AU.  Pluto was far down the hallway!	Students worked in groups of three and four to produce the model and to analyze data for a lab report.
