• Classroom Guidance Lessons

    About every four weeks I will visit each classroom to conduct classroom guidance lessons. The lessons will be developmentally appropriate guidance activities. All of the elementary buildings within Wilson use a set of lessons based on the series Social Decision Making/Social Problem Solving,by Research Press Publishers.  Some topics that will be covered in these lessons are:

    Identification of Feelings in Self and Others

    Listening Skills

    Appropriate Behaviors/Good Choices

    Friendship Skills

    Giving and Receiving Praise

    Anger Management and Strategies for Remaining Calm

    Bothering vs. Bullying

    Diversity
