• Getting to Know Your Counselor

My name is Carrie Berg and I am proud to serve the students and families at Shiloh Hills Elementary.   I am originally from Berks County and graduated from Muhlenberg High School.  After high school, I spent two years studying psychology and biology at the University of Maryland Baltimore County.  I then transferred to Albright College and graduated in 2001 with a Bachelors in Psychology and Biology.

After graduating, I spent several years working in various aspects of the the social services field.  I then decided that I really wanted to become a school counselor and I went back to school to further my education.  I went to West Chester University and received my Masters in Educational Counseling in 2008.

When I am not at school, I enjoy swimming, watching sports and going on walks with my husband and son, Daniel.  During my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and my dog, Daisy.   I also enjoy reading and cooking.
