 >Dress code: must wear golf shorts or slacks and golf polo

        to participate in try-outs.  No cargo shorts or jeans.

 

>Players must have their own equipment for tryouts 

 

> Players must be able to average under 120 to participate in 

   tryouts. I will ask for averages from new players trying out. 

   >>>> This is a safety measure to make sure all players have

        the ability to play at a high school varsity sport level in golf. 

 

> There will be a Cut to the top 12 players 

    after 3 days of 18 holes per day

      > Players must be there for all three days to make top 12!

      > There will also be a cut to top 15 players after

         days 1 and 2 of tryouts if needed. Final cut to top 12

         will be made after 3 rounds.

      > Additional players might be accepted if quality of golf

          that year proves to be exceptional. 

 

Girls must play in all 3 days of tryouts in order to make top 8

       < but...girls just need to average under 120 for all 3 rounds 

           to play in girls tourney at end of season. Please e-mail me

           for more details on girls qualifying. 

 

 

 

 

   Players not in top 8 will need to practice at Manor a

 

 

   It is also highly recommended that you have your

 

When the travel team has a match, there will not be

practice scheduled because I will be at the match and not able

to be present at Manor Golf course to supervise.  

 

In order to compete in challenge matches you have to show 

that you practiced at the Manor Golf Course at least 4 days a week. 

If you do not practice the minimum number of days then 

you will not be eligible for challenge matches. Practicing on 

weekends counts as well.
