    ______  hiking boots (optional)

     

    ______  two or more pair of old jeans or pants (one or more for wet trips, one for dry trips)

     

    ______  change of clothing for evenings (something decent to wear out to eat on Monday night; collared shirt and nice shorts or pants)

     

    ______  sleeping bag or sheets and blankets, and pillow

     

    ______  towels, wash cloth, soap, toiletries

     

    ______  shorts, bathing suit

     

    ______  rope, shower shoes

     

    ______  pocket notebook, pen or pencils,  field keys

     

    ______  Field Guide to Birds

     

    ______  binoculars

     

    ______  sunglasses, suntan lotion and/or sunscreen

     

    ______  insect repellent (this is a must); sting stick or cream

     

    ______  hat or other head covering

     

    ______  flashlight

     

    ______  gloves

     

    ______  camera and film

     

    ______  spending money ($75 to $100; unless you’re a big eater and spender)

     

    ______  alarm clock

     

    ______  small backpack

     

    Walkman’s and cell phones may be used during free time and the ride to and from Wallops only.  They may not be taken on any of the field trips.

    Snacks must not be opened and remain open in the rooms or you will have nightly visitors that may be unpleasant.
