On the afternoon of Monday, October 23, in collaboration with district officials, the Board members of the WHSA broke ground on the project to construct a pathway and steps from Bulldog field down to the back entrance of our school. This idea came as a result of brainstorming ways to manage traffic flow and keep the students of Whitfield safe during school arrival and dismissal times. With the construction of the steps, a second 1-stop drop zone will be created for families to use for drop off and pick up. Also, the leadership of St. Albans church across Van Reed Rd. will allow parent drop off from their left side lot, where students can be crossed by the guard at the light. This now gives parents of Whitfield students 3 options for safe walking zones for our students. More updates and information will be coming as the project develops. We are excited for the results of this collaborative plan.

Report cards will be visible through Skyward Family Access “Portfolio” tab beginning on the evening of Thursday, November 9. As a result, the Skyward Family Access system will close at 4:00 pm on Friday, October 27. If you have any questions about Skyward Family Access please contact Mrs. Weidner at ext. 1610.
