School Board Policy 810.1 - Transportation Personnel - Drug And Alcohol Testing
This policy is adopted to comply with federal regulatory mandates and to establish programs and practices designed to help prevent accidents and injuries resulting from the misuse of alcohol or controlled substances by school bus drivers.

School Board Policy 810.2 - Transportation - Video/Audio Monitoring on School Buses
The Board recognizes that serious misconduct on a school bus (“Bus”) or school vehicle (“Vehicle”), as those terms are defined in 75 P.S. § 102, may jeopardize the safety of all passengers. In an effort to discourage student misconduct, aid in the efficient administration of discipline, and for the security of all passengers, the Board authorizes the use of video and audio monitoring and recording devices on all district-owned and/or contracted Buses and Vehicles. The Board adopts this policy pursuant to 18 P.S. § 5704(18).
