Alvernia University - Schlager Memorial Field
Alvernia University is in the southern portion of the City of Reading.
From the Lancaster Area/PA Turnpike Exit at MP 286 (Reading/Ephrata):
Take US 222 North toward Reading. Pass exits for Gouglersville & Mohnton.
Exit to the right onto US 222 Business (Lancaster Avenue) and follow Lancaster Avenue into the Borough of Shillington.
Stay in the center lane as PA 724 East joins (at Arby's) and continue straight ahead to the light at the US 222B/PA 724 split at the Shillington Town Hall. (This is be the 3rd light after the light at Wawa/Museum Road.)
Bear right onto PA 724 East (Philadelphia Avenue) and continue 1.25 miles to the intersection with PA 625 (New Holland Road) and turn left onto New Holland Road.
Continue 1.25 miles on New Holland Road to Upland Avenue. Bear right up the hill onto Upland Avenue.
Continue 0.25 mile on Upland Avenue to Jackson Street and turn right.
Go two blocks to the T-intersection at Greenway Terrace and turn right.
The entrance to Alvernia University is 0.1 mile on your left.
You will be entering the campus on the NW side. Schlager Memorial Field is on the extreme SSE side of the campus.
