Hearing 
Hearing screenings are done on every child in
grades K, 1, 2, 3, 7, and 11. 
A threshold test is administered to those students who fail the original screening. If a child fails the threshold test a referral form will be sent home and the student is recommended to be further evaluated by a doctor. This form should be returned to the school nurse with the doctor's signature on it. 
If at any point during your child's career at Wilson you feel your child is having difficulty hearing please notify the school nurse and a screening will be done, regardless of the current grade.
