    Hello everyone! My name is Kristen McNaughton and I am delighted to be a member of the wonderful faculty at West Middle School! I teach 6th grade Reading Workshop on the White Team. This will be my eighth year teaching in the district.

    I graduated from Penn State University in 2008, where I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary & Kindergarten Education. I also have a Masters Degree in Reading from Kutztown University and am a certified reading specialist. 
     
    In my spare time I enjoy reading, spending time with family and friends, and watching Penn State football games- Go Nittany Lions!
     
    I have a ton of great literature to share with my students in reading class this year. I'm looking forward to meeting and getting to know this year's students and their families!
