• Third Grade Math Curriculum

The Wilson School District uses the enVision Math program. Materials that are used daily within the program are the Common Core Review, Student Textbook, and Practice Pages. The practice pages that are sent home with the lessons give the students an opportunity to practice the skills they learned that day in class. This program uses the terminology “topics” and “exercises” rather than “chapters” and “problems.” enVision Math was written specifically to address the Common Core Standards and is based on critical foundational research and proven classroom results. Mathematical Practices are deeply rooted in the curriculum. These practices promote student success in mathematics. enVision Math is powerful in concept-development and grounded on big ideas of mathematics and related essential understandings. The program encourages students to make sense of problems and become better problem solvers and develops conceptual understanding through daily Problem-Based Interactive Learning and step-by-step Visual Learning. enVision Math offers support and challenges based on the students’ needs.
