On a typical night, homework includes a math page, spelling, and reading. Math is assigned on a daily basis. Spelling is typically assigned on a Monday and is due on Friday, with the test occurring on Friday. 3rd grade requires 20 minutes of reading each night, for a total of 100 minutes in a week. Reading logs are assigned on Monday and are due the following Monday.This procedure is subject to change. Students may have other assignments in addition to those listed above or may have less. Tests and quizzes may require some at-home studying. Students are expected to write down their homework everyday in their assignment books.
