I graduated from Penn State in 1995 with a BS in Physics and a BS in Secondary Education.  I began teaching at Lebanon high school in the fall of 1995.  While there, I earned a M Ed. in teaching and curriculum again from Penn State at the harrisburg campus. In the fall of 2001 I came to Wilson high school. I continue to take classes from various locations to continue my learning. 

As you may know, I have an interest in amateur astronomy.  My interest and equipment has grown over time.  I've even built a small observatory (below) in my backyard that houses a relatively large telescope(below).  This permanent setup facilitates photography through the telescope that would be much more tedious with any portable setup.  While not the same quality as the Hubble space telescope, I have the satisfaction of knowing that I took the photo myself.  All of the photos were taken with the help of my wife.  With my wife's interest in photography, we have a hobby that we both enjoy.

 

        

 

 

Aside from my wife and son, my family also includes a dog that is half poodle, half papillon (papi-poo?).
