    History of GeometryThis site offers an interesting look at the history of geometry. Learn about geometry during the times of the Egyptians, Babylonians, and Greeks, The Fifth Postulate Controversy, The search for Pi, coordinate geometry, non-Euclidian geometry, differential geometry, and fractal geometry. There is also an Assignment link at the bottom of the site. The assignment challenges students to research a famous mathematician. The research links are provided, and some are very lengthy.
    Negative and Positive Number - Mystery PictureThis website offers a simple mystery picture challenge. Students are given nine math problems to solve to figure out what picture is hidden underneath the math problems. Questions include positive and negative numbers, and order of operations.
    Calc5 online calculator This online calculator is able to graph in two or three dimensions. Calc5 can be used to graph sin graphs, logarithms, and likely any graph needed in High School Math classes. A graph can include multiple functions.
    AAA MathStudents can practice math skills independently with this collection of challenging, interactive practice activities, organized by grade level and topic. The website says the activities are designed for students in grades K through eight. Topics vary greatly and include algebra, statistics, counting, comparing, decimals, basic operations, exponents, fractions, and many others. Nearly every math topic taught in elementary or middle school, will be found at this site. Once you click on the general topic area, be prepared for a HUGE list of specific choices to explore. Each math concept is explained in a simple paragraph and then students are presented with practice activities about the specific concept. The practice activities are timed.
    Math Multilingual Glossary
    This math glossary shows math terms and definitions in English and another selected language such as Spanish or Russian. There are also graphics that illustrate the definition. The languages offered include Armenian, Arabic, Spanish, Khmer, Russian, Chinese, Hmong, Punjabi, Tagalog, Urdu, Korean, Vietnamese, and Khmer. Students can type a word into the search box in English, or they can scan all math terms beginning with one letter. The word is read aloud when you click the sound box icon.
