About Mr. Campbell...
Wind River Range, Wyoming 2004Mr. Campbell graduated from Warwick High School, in Lititz, Pennsylvania in 1989 and attended the University of Vermont on a full athletic scholarship for basketball. Upon graduation, with a B.S. in Biochemistry, he worked as a lab technician for Agri-Analysis in Leola, Pennsylvania. He was also previously employed as an Assistant Manager of Eastern Mountain Sports in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.Mr. Campbell obtained teaching certifications in Biology and Chemistry through Millersville University, and has earned a Masters of Education degree from Kutztown University. He is currently working toward Principal Certification at Alvernia University. He currently works as a gifted support teacher, and has taught various science courses at Wilson since 2003.
When he is not in the classroom, Mr. Campbell, who is an Eagle Scout, enjoys various outdoor activities such as rock and mountain climbing, orienteering, backpacking, hunting, fishing, kayaking, and photography.In 1995, he hiked all 2,160 miles of the Appalachian Trail. During the summer of 2000, he climbed Mt. McKinley (20, 320 ft) in Alaska. He has also climbed numerous mountains in the Western United States and Canada.
Mr. Campbell is married to Shelly Campbell, who teaches at Southern Middle School. Together they are raising two boys, Ian and Grant.
