    You must be curious...How exactly is the GVHSA money used?

     

    Did you know that last year, the GVHSA provided:

     

    ·       $17,000 for a new iPad cart (30 iPads) to be used by the students
     

    $1,600 to the teachers  for classroom supplies
     
    $1,300 to purchase new calculators for the school
     
    $345 for the Annual Reading Challenge
     
     $775 for Guided Reading Books
     
     $450 for PSSA refreshments
     
    $75 for a daily Reading Eagle newspaper
     
     $50 for Literacy Night
     
     $1,200 for the Fall, Winter and Valentine’s homeroom parties
     
     $300 for Red and White Day festivities
     
     $500 for pizza for the Watchdog DADS kick off celebration
     
     $100 scholarships to two deserving Wilson HS seniors from GV
     
     A Teacher Appreciation Luncheon in the Spring
     
     Free Yearbooks to all graduating 5th graders
     
    $100 towards a parenting workshop held at Wilson West
     
    Support for the Fifth Grade Moving Up Ceremony
     
    $1,500 for assignment books for all third, fourth and fifth graders
